Hourly Roles
- Weekly Pay.
- Paid Time Off Programs (incl. vacation, paid sick time, holiday pay): Newly hired full-time employees will receive a one-time pro-rated allocation of up to 24 hours of vacation in their first calendar year depending on the month of hire. Up to 48 hours of paid sick time in accordance with applicable state law. You will receive up to 9 holidays per year, depending on the month of hire.
- Incentive opportunities based on performance (Warehouse Specialists).
Salaried Roles
- Semi-Monthly Pay.
- Incentive opportunities, based on role/grade level (rapid company growth over the past 5 years resulted in incentives being paid out at an average of 122% of your target opportunity!).
- 18 days of vacation immediately available (prorated in the first year) and up to 9 paid holidays depending on the month of hire.
Corporate
- Generous 401(k) retirement savings plan with a fully vested matching contribution the first year in addition to quarterly contributions and annual discretionary contribution (once eligibility requirements have been met). Over the past 5 years, company contributions (matching, quarterly & discretionary) for fully eligible employees have averaged 10.4% of total eligible compensation.
- Incentive opportunities, based on role/grade level (rapid company growth over the past 5 years resulted in incentives being paid out at an average of 122% of your target opportunity!).
- Up to 21 days of vacation immediately available (prorated in the first year).
- Up to 6 paid holidays depending on the month of hire.
- Company Car, phone and fuel card are provided for certain field-based positions.
- We bring them to you! Services such as mobile spas, auto maintenance, car wash and detailing, dry cleaning, dentists, eye doctors, flu shots, recycling and more (for employees based out of our corporate office!).
Customer Care
- Incentive opportunities, based on role/grade level (rapid company growth over the past 5 years resulted in incentives being paid out at an average of 122% of your target opportunity!). Customer Care Agents can earn up to a maximum of $350 per month in incentive pay!
- 21 days of vacation immediately available (prorated in the first year).
ACE HARDWARE HOME
SERVICES (SKILLED TRADES)
- Incentive/Commission/Bonus opportunities (Based on role/grade level).

(WHOLESALE)
- Generous 401(k) retirement savings plan with a fully vested matching contribution the first year and annual discretionary contribution (once eligibility requirements have been met). Over the past 3 years, company contributions (matching & discretionary) for fully eligible employees have averaged 7.3% of total eligible compensation.
- Incentive opportunities, based on role/grade level (rapid company growth over the past 3 years resulted in incentives being paid out above 106.6% of your target opportunity!)
- Up to 21 days of vacation immediately available (prorated in the first year).
- Up to 6 paid holidays depending on the month of hire.
- Company Car, phone and fuel card are provided for field-based positions.
- Oak Brook based positions are located in our Ace Hardware Corporate building in Oak Brook, IL

Career
- 12-Week Summer Internship Program: Our paid internship program runs for 12 weeks over the summer and offers a full-time (40-hour work week) experience. Interns gain real, hands-on experience within their assigned department or function, working on meaningful day-to-day projects with real responsibilities, deadlines, and business impact.
- Entry-Level Full-Time Opportunities: Interns who successfully complete the program may be considered for full-time roles. These entry-level positions offer the same comprehensive benefits as regular full-time employees.
