Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customers receive exceptional service by maintaining a customer-first approach.
  • Manage inventory levels and oversee purchasing budgets to sustain profitability.
  • Hire, train, and schedule staff while maintaining a safe and positive work environment.
  • Communicate, plan, and delegate tasks to the Assistant Manager, Store Supervisor, and Sales Associates. 
  • Monitor daily sales reports and cashier transactions to identify and address issues.
  • Transactions and daily cash deposits.
  • Plan and execute in-store promotions in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping and maintain store appeal through visual merchandising. 
  • Communicate with the Support Team and participate in all inter-company communications as directed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand and walk for up to 10 hours during shifts as required. 
  • Excellent written and computer skills required.
  • Retail management experience highly encouraged.

Location: Telluride Colorado. This position requires travel. Timberline Ace has stores located in Telluride, Norwood, Clifton, Battlement Mesa, Carbondale and Aspen and may require company paid travel for trainings and other company activities.

This is a salaried position with a 45-hr. work hour weekly minimum requirement.  Any vacation and sick pay must be communicated and approved by the General Manager.
