Ace Hardware is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Screen Repair Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for repairing and replacing window and door screens for customers, ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with screen repair, basic hand tools, and the ability to work efficiently in a retail service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and replace window and door screens, including measuring, cutting, and installing screen material.
- Assess damaged screens and recommend appropriate repair solutions to customers.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment used for screen repair.
- Assist customers with service requests, providing friendly and professional support.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace in the repair area.
- Track repair orders and ensure timely completion of customer requests.
- Follow all store safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with other store duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience repairing window or door screens preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic measuring techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair requests.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Schedule & Employment Type:
