Customer Service Excellence

• Provide a positive and friendly representation of Ace Hardware to every customer.
• Proactively assist customers with personalized solutions and product knowledge.
• Greet and thank customers warmly throughout their visit.
• Handle customer inquiries promptly and escalate issues to management as needed.
• Maintain strong knowledge of store layout and merchandise locations.

Store Operations Support

• Help receive, stock, and price merchandise to keep the store inviting and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness on the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor areas.
• Assist with merchandise resets, signage updates, and special orders.
• Operate forklift safely after training and contribute to a professional work environment.
• Participate actively in store meetings and communicate ideas to improve sales and operations.

Skills & Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Formal retail experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders during shifts.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings (no later than 8pm), and holidays.
• Strong teamwork, accountability, and service-oriented attitude.
