KIMPS ACE HARDWARE IS SEEKING A PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME HARDWARE SALES ASSOCIATE TO PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL SERVICES TO CUSTOMERS
Essential Functions:
- GREET ALL CUSTOMERS IN A FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER
- ASSIST CUSTOMERS WITH PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, AND FASTENER QUESTIONS (TRAINING AVAILABLE)
- ENSURE CUSTOMERS HAVE ALL SUPPLIES NEEDED TO COMPLETE PROJECT
- COMPLETE DAILY MAINTENANCE ON KEY MACHINES
- RESTOCK AREA WITH ALL SUPPLIES
- ASSIST AND SUPPORT OTHER AREAS OF THE STORE TO PROMOTE GREAT TEAMWORK
- UPDATE PRICING STICKERS AS NEEDED
- ASSIST WITH PUTTING AWAY PRODUCT ORDERS
- DUPLICATE CUSTOMER HOUSE AND AUTOMOTIVE KEYS
Job Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Willing to work on a weekend rotation
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds frequently
- Must possess the ability to stay on task & complete work in a timely manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to follow company policies
- Previous experience in customer service (preferred)
- The ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Strong phone communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to stand for 6 hours at a time
