Ace Hardware - Immediate Inventory Associate Needed

Ace Hardware is seeking a highly skilled Full Time Retail Inventory Associate to join our team. As an Inventory Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal inventory levels, implementing best practices, and contributing to the overall success of our store.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adequate inventory levels to minimize outages
- Follow developed receiving processes
- Train on inventory management best practices
- Monitor inventory management reports
- Implement location codes and cycle counting
- Assist with the introduction of new items to store mix
- Identify obsolete inventory and determine removal strategies
- Monitor shrinkage and recommend ways to reduce theft and breakage
- Receiving/unloading weekly trucks
Requirements:
- Willingness to learn all services provided at the store
- 8 hour shifts
- Weekend availability and open availability are a must
- Must have computer skills to receive and enter invoices
Education/Training:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
Experience:
- Retail experience preferred
Physical Demands:
- Standing, walking, bending, lifting (30-50 lbs)
- Ladder climbing several times a day
