Job Summary
The Floor Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the retail environment. This position is responsible for overseeing daily activities on the sales floor, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a keen understanding of retail operations, including inventory control and team management.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of floor staff to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory control processes, including stock management and replenishment to maintain product availability.
- Train, recruit, and develop team members to enhance their skills in retail sales and customer service.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve store goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while fostering a positive work environment.
- Assist customers with inquiries, providing exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with management to address operational challenges and improve store efficiency.
Skills
- Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in retail sales is preferred, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Proficient in inventory control practices to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Excellent team management skills to lead and motivate staff towards achieving common goals.
- Familiarity with Hardware
