We’re thrilled to announce that MRT Lawn and Garden Center will be opening its third location in Venice, FL in fall 2025! In preparation, we’re expanding our team and seeking passionate, experienced leaders to join us as Store Managers and Management Team Members at our Venice or Port Charlotte locations. With the flexibility of our current management, these positions will cover our two existing locations and the upcoming North Venice store.

What You’ll Do

As part of the MRT management team, you’ll:

• Lead and Develop: Guide, train, and mentor associates to reach their full potential.
• Manage Operations: Oversee sales, expenses, and profits while ensuring operational excellence.
• Deliver Exceptional Service: Foster a customer-first culture, ensuring every customer has a top-tier experience.
• Drive Results: Monitor store performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Support Growth: Contribute to the success of our expanding company with innovative ideas and leadership.

What We’re Looking For

We’re hiring for various management roles, including:

• Store Managers
• Assistant Managers
• Shift Managers / Key Holders

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5 to 10 years of retail management experience (garden center or hardware store experience preferred).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Computer proficiency, including knowledge of Excel and experience with Epicor or similar POS systems.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and remain on their feet for 8 to 10 hours per shift.
• Weekend availability — MRT operates 7 days a week:
• Monday to Saturday: 7 AM - 7 PM
• Sunday: 8 AM - 6 PM
