What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for servicing all system issues on time and to the customers satisfaction

• Troubleshoot and repair customer systems

• Perform scheduled maintenance

• Perform warranty work

• Suggest system improvements, and modifications

• Work on HVAC equipment, furnaces, gas boilers, and zone systems.

What you need to succeed:

• Min 3 years Residential HVAC experience

• High school diploma/GED

• EPA Universal certification

• Degree in Heating and Air Conditioning Technology a plus

• Self-motivated to achieve annual goals and objectives

• No sales pressure environment

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Customer service oriented

• Superior trouble-shooting/diagnostic and repair skills for a/c systems, gas and oil furnaces, gas and oil boilers, zone systems and other HVAC equipment

• Clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to work on HVAC units.

• Will be required to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on time of year.

• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

What You’ll Do:

• Service new and existing customers to provide a customized solution to fix the issue at hand.

What You Need To Succeed:

• At least 7 years experience in residential plumbing, with a focus on service
• Master Plumbers license or in the process of obtaining Master Plumbers license required

What You’ll Do

• Install HVAC and related equipment, including gas lines used in a residential and light commercial setting, successfully without supervision.

• Assemble and install heating and air-conditioning units used in homes.

• Design and install HVAC equipment, ductwork, and piping.

• Maintain accurate logs of all work performed.

• Ensure our reputation for superior service is maintained during all interactions with customers.

• Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned / required

Work Hours: Monday thru Friday 40 + hours per week. Overtime/Weekends offered even during the Off-Season.

What you need to succeed:

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

• Maintain a professional attitude at all time

• Must be able to take direction from Lead workers and Supervisors

Job Description:

Ace Hardware Home Services of NJ is an established, growth-oriented HVAC company with locations in Linwood and Pittsgrove, NJ. Ace Hardware Home Services has a growing roster of services which now include plumbing, cooling, heating, and electrical. Ace is now better positioned to serve more homeowners who are seeking to have many home maintenance projects completed for them in a quality manner performed by trained professionals from brands they can trust.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading the warehouse team to serve the needs of our entire team and customers in an efficient and reliable manner. This individual will communicate with the team, customers and management regarding all work performed in a timely and routine basis. This is critical to the success of this position. A professional appearance and behavior must be maintained at all times.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a warehouse in a fast-paced environment
• Assign and assist with workloads and daily tasks to purchasers and warehouse associates
• Oversee receiving and stocking of materials
• Monitor inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
• Implement processes and procedures to maintain and improve operational efficiencies
• Pick orders and load trucks for delivery
• Occasionally make deliveries in a 10 to 15’ box, pick-up truck, or cargo van
• Pick up/load homeowner orders from suppliers and help load/unload at job site
• Maintain clean and orderly warehouse and vehicles
• Ability to work weekdays and some Saturdays

• Work directly under the supervision of a qualified Lead HVAC Technician
• Assist with any and all trouble shooting.

What You’ll Do:

• Assembles pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.

• Installs pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, or fixtures such as sinks or toilets, using hand or power tools.

• Cuts openings in structures to accommodate pipes or pipe fittings, using hand or power tools.

• Fills pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observes pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.

• Experience providing estimates (time/money) for jobs and billing, highly preferred.

• Delivering excellent customer service.

What you need to succeed:

The HVAC Service Technician position is a regular full-time position with overtime hours expected based on seasonality and client demand. Job Duties:

• Provide an exceptional experience through efficient and accurate service and effective communication

• EPA Universal Certification

• Install all pipelines relating to HVAC installation for both residential and commercial customers.

What You’ll Do:

The Training and Onboarding Specialist will partner with new Franchise Owners during the most important phases– preparing and opening their business! This role is the primary point of contact for Franchise Owners as soon as they enter the network and up to their 2nd week of opening. The Training and Onboarding Specialist will directly impact franchisee profitability, employee retention and sales growth. This role will report to the Training Operations Manager.

Focus areas include (but are not limited to):

• Franchise Owner fulfillment of objectives & engagement in the onboarding process
• Coaching existing and tenured Franchise Owners virtually and in-person
• Facilitating virtual, webinars, and in-person classrooms for content Delivery
• Facilitating New Office Openings (which includes up to 50% travel per month)

Franchise Owners spend up to 16 weeks preparing for their GoLive week, and learning the Best Demonstrated Practices of the system. During onboarding, the Training and Onboarding Specialist (TOS) guides Owners through setting up their business and ensure best demonstrated practices are followed. The TOS performs daily administrative duties while documenting and facilitating all relevant conversations with Owners and their staff. In addition, there is an emphasis to expose new owners early to Ace Handyman Services’ culture, model, and Service Path. Depending on needs, the TOS may perform the initial on-site visit during GO Live to reinforce that training and bolster the confidence of the Franchise Owner’s new TEAM.

• Reliable, accountable, and professional at all times
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. Position can be remote, but must live near an airport. Denver, CO area is preferred, but not necessary.
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) – a pleasant demeanor but ability to be firm regarding deadlines and expectations
• Competencies and excellence in project management, customer focus, business acumen, implementation/facilitation, training, and relationship building & influencing
• Degree in Business, Marketing, or Education, or 3 years of Franchise Experience preferred

• Able to be flexible and adaptable to last-minute schedule & travel changes

Job Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for residential and commercial applications
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs

The Paint Project Manager oversees the entire painting project lifecycle, from sales and estimating to crew management and job completion. This role requires strong sales abilities, project management expertise, and the capability to recruit and manage 1099 painting crews. The ideal candidate is proactive, technology-savvy (ServiceTitan), and focused on revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES :

• Generate and close residential and commercial painting sales through various channels, including door-to-door canvassing and hyper-local marketing.

• Provide accurate and competitive project estimates.

• Develop and maintain relationships with homeowners, property managers, general contractors, and business owners.

• Recruit, vet, and manage 1099 painting crews to ensure high-quality job execution.

• Oversee project scheduling, coordination, and completion while ensuring top-tier customer service.

• Utilize ServiceTitan to track estimates, job progress, invoices, and customer communications.

• Manage and purchase liquid paint and paint sundries from Ace Hardware efficiently and cost-effectively.

• Analyze sales and job performance to optimize revenue growth and ensure profitability.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES :

• Education & Experience:

  • 2+ years of successful experience in sales, project management, or estimating in the painting or construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge of residential & commercial painting processes, materials, and best practices.

• Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven ability to generate leads and close deals.

  • Experience managing 1099 subcontractors and ensuring quality workmanship.

  • Proficiency in ServiceTitan (or similar CRM/job management software).

  • Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to engage in door-to-door canvassing and local marketing efforts.

  • Self-motivated and goal-driven with a strong focus on revenue growth.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Job Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for residential and commercial applications
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations, including the NEC
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to complete projects
• Perform frame carpentry work as needed for electrical installations
• Install and program logic controllers for automation systems
• Handle low voltage systems, such as security and fire alarm systems

Job Requirements:

• Master Electrician license required
• Minimum of 2 years, preference for 5+ years of experience as an electrician
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting electrical plans
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their programming
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues efficiently and effectively
• Experience working on renovation projects is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
• Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide an exceptional experience through efficient and accurate service and effective communication.
• Maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment including traditional forced-air systems, steam, and hot water-based systems, oil, high velocity, ductless and more.
• Utilize specialized diagnostic tools to balance and solve traditional airflow, fuel, refrigerant, and electrical challenges presented in residential equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs of all work performed & required truck inventory necessary to complete all flat-rate repairs.
• Educate and inform customers on improvements to the comfort, efficiency, or safety of their homes.
• Assist in the development of junior service technicians.
• Follow all companywide systems and administrative details as they relate to the service department.

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum 5 years of HVAC experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC industry best practices and building codes.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid Driver’s License and Clean MVR.
