Moraga Hardware & Lumber, an independently owned ACE hardware store, is looking for a talented Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and product knowledge to our valued customers. As a Moraga Hardware team member, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers and contractors with their hardware needs. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, offering product recommendations, and ensuring the store is well-maintained and stocked. What to expect:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist customers in locating items and answering product-related questions
• Provide knowledgeable advice on products, tools, and materials
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's POS system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor
• Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
• Handle customer inquiries, returns, and complaints with a positive attitude
• Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment and support colleagues as needed
• Enjoy a high-energy and fast-paced work environment
• Be prepared to be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
