Our paint department is a vital part of our store, helping both DIY enthusiasts and professionals find the perfect solutions for their projects. We’re looking for a motivated Sales Associate/Paint Assistant to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers on the sales floor, with a primary focus on the paint department.
• Provide expert advice on paint products, including color selection, mixing, and matching.
• Understand and adhere to store operating procedures to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with professional painters and contractors.
• Ensure the paint department is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
• Participate in inventory management and assist with product restocking as needed.
• Participate in appropriate training on both paint and store processes.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and care.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping customers.
• Basic knowledge of paint products and mixing techniques is a plus.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with professionals in the industry.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
