Job Title: Delivery Coordinator

Position Summary

The Delivery Coordinator is responsible for executing a centralized delivery process that is intended to increase operational efficiency across all company stores and increase visibility of services offered by BBCO and BBCO Handyman.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Work with Store leadership to ensure Deliveries are being scheduled appropriately

Validate all deliveries with customers over the phone – reconcile any discrepancies

Provide feedback to company leadership on opportunities and weaknesses

Build and deliver all applicable items per store in a consistent and time efficient manner

Work with other team members to complete all deliveries and assemblies during the week

Develop a thorough understanding of Acenet and its modules – most specifically, the Delivery Schedule.

Generate leads for Ace Handyman Services

Generates return business through excellent customer service

Use logistical tactics to make delivery routes as efficient as possible

Vigilantly communicate expectations and deliverables with store staff and customers

Assume any other duties as directed by direct supervisor

Meet weekly with Director of Services and Operations to discuss obstacles and determine current and future needs

Qualifications :

Strong and Effective communication

Excellent planning and communication skills

Exemplifies professional appearance and demeanor

Basic knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word and Excel may be required

Formidable team-working skills

Self-motivated and ambitious

Enthusiasm and the ability to learn quickly

Technology proficient in general systems

Physical Demand

Climb stairs, ladders, and lift using proper safety measures 

Bending, Stooping, Twisting, and Reaching

Standing for lengthy periods of time (up to 10 hours or more) 

Lifting 80 to 100 pounds frequently throughout the day

Work Environment :

Work in air-conditioned indoor settings and outside with local travel included

Ability to work fluctuating hours during peak seasons or as business necessitates

Travel to all store locations required

Ability to work in other positions as needed to fill business needs
