Seasonal Screen & Glass Repair Associate (Part Time)

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for repairing customer screens and windows, driving delivery vehicles, and communicating with store employees.

Your Role:

• Repair customer screens by completing some/or all of the following tasks:

~ Measure the frame of the screen and determine the amount of screen needed to repair the screen

~ Cut screen off the roll to fit inside the frame

~ Roll spline and press it into the frame

~ Replace the plastic/aluminum corners as well as bent or damage frame parts

~ Determine the final cost of the screen repair job based on the number of supplies that were used

~ Notify the customer when their repairs are completed & ready for pick-up

• Manage the inventory of all raw materials
• Follow safety measures and maintain a clean worksite upon completion of daily tasks
• Report on all customer satisfaction issues to the Store Manager

A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required in addition to the ability to work a flexible schedule.

About You:

• High school diploma or GED
• Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Skilled at providing prompt, friendly and attentive customer service
• Willing to learn on the job and complete web-based training
• Ability to exert moderate, though not constant, physical effort - typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Requires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift and transport various objects weighing up to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Requires the ability to move heavier objects with assistance

Compensation Details:

$10 - $13 per hour
