General Summary
Small Engine Technician will inspect, service and repair power equipment. Complete all paperwork associated with service and repair.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Customer Service
• Provide positive representation of store.
• Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
• Provide a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
• Ensure all calls and pages are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.
• Handle customer complaints. Work to resolve problems with the customer and have a mutually fair and equitable solution.
• Possess excellent product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.
Store Operations
• Ensure a positive, professional and safe work environment for all associates.
• Discuss equipment issues, maintenance plans, and work performed with customers.
• Perform routine engine maintenance, such as lubricating parts and replacing spark plugs
• Test and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts.
• Repair or replace worn defective, or broken parts.
• Reassemble and reinstall components and engines following repairs.
• Keep records of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used.
• Record and file all warranties.
• Maintain and order replacement parts as needed.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Other Essential Requirements
Education
- High School or GED equivalent.
Experience
- Previous small engine repair experience. Course completed in Small engine repair.
Physical Demands
- Sitting and operating chain sharpener. Bending, standing, walking, lifting (up to 60 lbs) and climbing.

General Summary:
66 Hardware Group Garden Centers are seeking several seasonal part time Garden Associates for their Texas stores.These individuals are upbeat, dedicated folks tasked with assisting Garden Center customers in a timely, friendly manner, as well as the care of all varieties of plants, organization, pricing, and stocking of the Garden Center.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Watering and caring for different varieties of plants appropriately and daily.
Includes feeding, pruning, weeding, etc. as needed
* Cleaning, raking, weeding, etc. as needed to keep the Garden Center tidy, shoppable, and safe.
* Unloading shipments of live goods and checking the accuracy of shipments and filing invoices.
* Accurately pricing all garden merchandise.
* Assisting customers in finding plants and types of plants in the Garden.
* Loading and carrying plants, soils, amendments, and decor to carts & checkout.
* Inspecting plants to assess quality and health, identifying disease or pests.
* Appropriately communicating any problem or issue that requires management assistance to the Garden Lead.
* Project a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as fellow associates.
* Willingness to work weekends and events.
* Able to work well in a team or self start individually
Other Essential Requirements:
Physical Demands:
* Prolonged periods of Standing, walking, lifting (up to 50lbs), and moving items
* Ability to work safely in the summer heat by hydrating, wearing hats, etc.

* Past gardening experience (professionally or personally)

General Summary
The Cashier is responsible for register transactions involving the sale and/or return of merchandise.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Customer Service
• Project a positive representation of Ace Hardware.
• Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers by name, when possible, when they are leaving the store.
• Project a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
• Clear customer checkout lines quickly and efficiently.
• Answer and monitor all calls and pages promptly, courteously and effectively.
• Communicate any problem or issue that requires management assistance.
• Continually build product knowledge base and possess the ability to assist customers with store layout and product location.
• Assist in pricing, stocking, marking, and bagging of merchandise.
Register Operations
• Follow all cash register transaction procedures.
• Responsible for balancing of register drawer.
• Adhere to any Store Support Center program or promotion that may require implementation at the cash registers.
• Participate in store and Cashier meetings.
Front End Appearance and Upkeep
• Keep the front end, (including checkout areas and entrance doors) neat and clean at all times. Face and dust front end.
• Assist with keeping impulse counters stocked and faced, rotate fresh merchandise in as seasons change.
• Ensure fresh ads are stocked in shopping carts at all times.
• Ensure forms and supplies are stocked at all times.
• Assist with decorating the front end according to the Store Support Center program.
• Call for cart pickups when necessary.
• Inform management when merchandise returns need to be put away.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
Other Essential Requirements
Education/Training:
High School or GED equivalent.
Experience:
Cashier experience preferred. Customer service experience preferred.
Physical Demands
Standing, walking, lifting (up to 40lbs) and climbing.

General Summary

66 Hardware Group Garden Centers are seeking several seasonal part time Garden Associates for their Texas stores.These individuals are upbeat, dedicated folks tasked with assisting Garden Center customers in a timely, friendly manner, as well as the care of all varieties of plants, organization, pricing, and stocking of the Garden Center.

* Watering and caring for different varieties of plants appropriately and daily.
Includes feeding, pruning, weeding, etc. as needed
* Cleaning, raking, weeding, etc. as needed to keep the Garden Center tidy, shoppable, and safe.
* Unloading shipments of live goods and checking the accuracy of shipments and filing invoices.
* Accurately pricing all garden merchandise.
* Assisting customers in finding plants and types of plants in the Garden.
* Loading and carrying plants, soils, amendments, and decor to carts & checkout.
* Inspecting plants to assess quality and health, identifying disease or pests.
* Appropriately communicating any problem or issue that requires management assistance to the Garden Lead.
* Project a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as fellow associates.
* Willingness to work weekends and events.
* Able to work well in a team or self start individually

• Ensure forms and supplies are stocked at all times.
• Assist with decorating the front end according to the Store Support Center program.
• Call for cart pickups when necessary.
• Inform management when merchandise returns need to be put away.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Assist with keeping impulse counters stocked and faced, rotate fresh merchandise in as seasons change.

• Ensure forms and supplies are stocked at all times.
• Assist with decorating the front end according to the Store Support Center program.
• Call for cart pickups when necessary.
• Inform management when merchandise returns need to be put away.

This individual is tasked with leading the Garden Center staff in the care of all varieties of plants; organization, pricing, and stocking of the Garden Center; and ensuring our customers are helped in a friendly, timely manner!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Includes the following, other duties may be assigned:
* Supervise Part Time and Seasonal Garden Associates to ensure the garden and our customers are cared for appropriately.
* Communicate effectively with buyers to ensure that plants and pricing are appropriate to the seasons and store needs.
* Collaborate with the Store Manager on hiring and scheduling.
* Learn aspects of the store and complete training to ensure you are following store procedures and philosophies.
* Watering different varieties of plants appropriately and daily, if needed. Delegating tasks to garden staff as appropriate.
* Cleaning, raking, weeding as needed to keep the Garden tidy and shoppable. Delegating tasks to garden staff as appropriate.
* Unload shipments of live goods and check the accuracy of the shipment. Delegating tasks to garden staff as appropriate.
* Price & create displays for merchandise. Delegating tasks to garden staff as appropriate.

* Assist customers in finding plants and types of plants in the Garden. Carrying plants, bags of soil or amendments, decor to checkout.

Other Essential Requirements:
Plant knowledge or gardening experience in North Texas required.
Google Sheets and Docs experience is preferred.
