POSITION SUMMARY :

The Operations Support Specialist I (OSS I) is the primary person who answers the phone to discuss our services, prices and availability. Every effort to assist new customers in understanding how we work is expected during each conversation. Once a complete understanding has developed and estimated package/pricing is given, each customer is to be scheduled with a brief description of the type of work, the correct Craftsman, and an exact date and time when work is to be performed. This information is passed along to the Craftsman in the field the night prior. Every effort to assist the Craftsman during this process is to be made from the office.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES :

• Answering the phone in 3 rings with a smile.
• Enter lead in CRM, educating customer on AHS and following call blueprint.
• Schedule job on appropriate craftsman based on skill set and location. Inputting detailed notes on job description that is easy and clear for CM.
• Making sure the schedule is packed and with efficiency for the Craftsmen.
• Return calls, voicemails and emails in a timely manner and all by end of day.
• Contact each lead, daily and updating the notes in PipeDrive following the sales process. Each lead should be contacted everyday at least 3 times.
• Call customers for job review on newly hired Craftsmen after shadow is complete.
• Call warranty calls.
• Review schedule to make sure invoices and estimates are complete and paid.
• Review calls and rate in Centermark Dashboard.
• General Admin tasks, supply updated, filing, office maintenance.
• Working with Leadership Team.
• Maintain a closing ratio of minimum 60%.
• Send thank you notes weekly
• Complete understanding of the AHS Service Path.
• Handling customer complaints and escalating as necessary.
• Update OSS Summary Sheet everyday

Required Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience in customer service skills.
• Previous dispatching experience, preferred
• Ability to solve complex problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) experience.
• Minimum of 45 WPM and ten-key a plus.
• Multi-tasking, time management and prioritization skills a must.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Assisting with additional projects and tasks as asked.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and expanding the market share and sales base for Ace Hardware Home Services verticals (Plumbing, Electrical, Heating Cooling and Handyman Services) in the Philadelphia Market. This position will be highly focused on sales and marketing efforts in three key areas: In-person sales as follows: A. Ace Store Integration scheduling, booking and sales efforts, specifically, establishing a roving market presence in Ace Hardware stores within the Philadelphia territory to feature and sell Ace Hardware Home Services. B. Community connected events and activities, specifically setting up and presenting at local community related events, industry trade shows and other similar market specific events and activities to feature and sell Ace Hardware Home Services. C. Other local market opportunities to be identified at a later date.

What You’ll Do

• Market, Sell, schedule and book Ace Hardware Home Services jobs and projects to customers.

• Create the Home Services awareness (Specifically Plumbing, Electrical, Heating Cooling and Handyman Services) inside the Philadelphia Ace stores.

• Champion and articulate the Ace Hardware Home Services value propositions to store associates, team members and other internal & external team members.

• Represent Ace Hardware Home Services and market, promote and sell our services at community events, trade shows and other local rally points.

• Network within the local community with other service businesses to partner and exchange leads and other partnership opportunities

• Maintain a weekly prospect pipeline with measurable results

• Other duties as they are identified.

What you need to succeed:

• 3-5 years business development experience
• Relationship Management – ability to cultivate and maintain commercial client relationships
• Demonstrated success in closing deals and generating revenue through outside sales efforts
• Basic knowledge of the construction and home improvement industry. Experience in the professional home services industry a plus
• Demonstrated ability to build and foster relationships with key personnel in small, medium, and large companies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Active Driver’s License
• Travel less than 10% of the time, and should reside in the Philadelphia, PA area

• Complete plumbing, drain cleaning and other related in-home service calls.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, identify, and repair residential plumbing tasks, ranging from faucet repairs, and water heater installations, to repipes with appropriate tools and materials for repair.
• Train and mentor apprentices as needed.
• Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings and retreats.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
• Provide exceptional customer service. Present yourself as professional and knowledgeable to ensure the satisfaction of our customer base and to win referrals and repeat business.

• Complete plumbing, drain cleaning and other related in-home service calls.

The Call Center Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the district’s call center, supporting three Ace Hardware Home Service operations. The Call Center team and operations are responsible for delivering a high quality “Ace Helpful” service, ensuring each customer interaction is aligned with the Company’s mission and core values. The Call Center Manager will cultivate an environment where engaged team members aspire to fulfill an unmatched customer experience, strive to attain departmental performance benchmarks and explore areas of operational and self-improvement. The Manager will collaborate with the district’s leadership to ensure the achievement of productivity and quality metrics in support of the individual district’s branch goals. The Call Center will impact the district’s long-term goals by converting Ace Hardware customers into raving fans and lifelong customers.

What You’ll Do

• Communicate with district leadership to ensure alignment of branch and call center strategic initiatives, performance expectations and customer escalations. Ensure support and alignment of daily branch benchmarks, resolution of customer escalation and the overall customer experience.
• Provide direction and leadership for the district’s call center and call center team members, acting as the agent for the changing needs of three individual branches.
• Ensure the Call Center provides exceptional customer service through empathetic care, inventive problem solving, and clear communication.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coordinate training programs and identify training needs
• Leverage call center technology to support quality control supervision. Use the AHHS call center process to coach and train individual team members to improve the customer engagement
• Hire, train, and coach team members to deliver a consistent and unmatched customer experience in accordance with the AHHS Call center core process.
• Working with the district leadership, develop, deploy, and manage the operation and team to quarterly and annual operating plans. This includes achievement of key operational initiatives, departmental metrics and performance targets, necessary to achieve district goals.
• Lead, manage and hold call center team members accountable to live the AHHS core values while achieving individual performance metrics.
• Facilitate weekly department meetings, driving open, honest collaboration and problem-solving.
• Learn all branch services and product offerings to effectively communicate with the district’s customer base.
• Provide input into defining policy, procedures and process that fits into the AHHS level of service and productivity methodology.
• Complete special projects and perform other job duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Call Center or Service Management or related field with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Leadership or supervisory experience managing a multiple branch operation
• Ability to assess, hire, coach/develop, and lead a team of call center agents
• Experience building, managing, and navigating a departmental budget
• Clear, confident, & effective communicator over virtual platforms and in person
• Capable of building a high performing and engaged team that promotes accountability. ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Journeyman Plumber will apply their technical skills and knowledge in performing diagnostic, service, and installation of plumbing in residential and light commercial environments and ensure that work is performed in accordance with relevant codes. Responsibilities include assembling, installing, or repairing pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems in accordance with plumbing code specifications.

• Performs residential and light commercial service calls to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues.
• Identifies potential problems to prevent premature and/or unexpected breakdowns/callbacks.
• Maintains and repairs plumbing systems carrying water, steam, chemicals, and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating and other process piping systems.
• Inspects high-pressure, air, steam, water, and gas systems to ascertain malfunctions.
• Repairs or replaces plumbing fixtures, tests joints, and pipe systems.
• Interprets drawings and specifications to determine layout requirements.
• Reviews blueprints, building codes or specifications to determine work details and procedure.
• Studies building plans and inspects structures to assess material and equipment needs, establish sequence of pipe installations, and plan installation around obstructions.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, ream, and install pipe and pipe fittings.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist lead technician with daily installations and repairs of electrical systems.

• Work closely with the lead technician to ensure that work is completed and job site is clean.

• Organizes work by receiving and studying work orders; gathering tools and supplies.

• Repairs electrical problems by replacing faulty parts and components.

• Maintains safe work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with codes.

• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

• Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.

• Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.

• Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.

• Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

• Complete special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

• Prior experience in residential generator installation and maintenance preferred

• Electrical license preferred

• Knowledge of multiple manufactures of equipment

• Communication Skills

• Able to work independently or with a team

• NEC Training

• OSHA 10

• Ability to complete equipment maintenance

• Able to pass a drug screening and background check (random testing may occur)
