Job Responsibilities
- Create attractive displays, order products, and assist customers with their purchases
- Develop Paint Department staff, set goals for growth, and provide ongoing feedback
- Utilize inventory reports to maintain stock levels and maximize accuracy
- Promote Customer Service as the top priority and lead by example
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe store environment
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in retail or customer service
- Valid in-state driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Preferred experience in commercial and homeowner paint sales
- Availability to work weekends and night shifts
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to motivate and lead associates fairly
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Technically skilled in basic retail computer systems
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Handle boxes of merchandise and perform all functions as required
